About this position
Job duties:
- Sanitation- food safety kills in all aspects of the kitchen
- Knife Skills- care of knives and basic knife cuts
- Meat Preparation-basics if identifying, preparation and storage
- Fruit and Vegetables-basics of identifying, preparation and storage
- Presentation-applying finishes to meals for residents
- Certification-achieving CFPM or Food Handler certification
- Active Listening-Full ability to concentrate on what is being instructed
- Culinary Math- Portion control to maintain consistency in production, and to compute food cost.
